Live and Learn while you Rock and Roll

We all love Rock Band. That neat little gem that sprouted after the successful Guitar Hero which had, not only guitars, but drums and a mic. Guitar Hero itself soon followed with the whole “band” thing, but I think it’s fair to say Rock Band will forever be the best of the two. But, this isn’t what I wanted to post about, oh no. I have something MUCH better to talk about.

You know that song that plays when you start up ANY sonic game? Odds are it’s made by Crush 40, who are pretty much Sonic’s official band. But guess what? Soon, you’ll be hearing those same songs along with a few cheers and plunks. Crush 40’s twitter page hinted at them being in Rock Band (it’s their official page, not some 13 year old trying to get attention) with a simple “Crush 40 in Rock Band you say? Stay tuned…….”. The Ozone Radio twitter page also hinted as well (Ozone Radio works with Harmonix, the creators of Rock Band) and later stated that people are “excited about our new deal with Crush 40″ and are teasing with 4 unanounced songs which they say will be revealed later.

So, will we be rocking out to His World soon? Perhaps. It’s definitely something to watch out for.

  1. Rock Band sucks. True story.

Are the song rights entirely owned by Crush 40? Cuz I doubt it’ll be in Rock Band if even part of the songs are owned by Sega. You know, the whole “business” thing.

  2. Meh. I’m not into the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games, but Crush 40 being in a future game sounds cool.

  3. That would be great to play a Sonic song on Rock Band.
